Purchased a bedroom furniture set in Mother's Day and was told it would be delivered on 6/8 (they checked and said everything was in stock) On 6/1 I called and confirmed the delivery date with Customer Service. On 6/5 I received a text confirming my delivery date of 6/8. On 6/7 I received a text confirming my delivery date and time on 6/8. Three hours later they called to tell me the items are all back ordered and wanted to set a new delivery date w/o knowing if the furniture would be back in the warehouse by then. I contacted Customer Service who was argumentative and told me to drive to the store (1.5 hours away) to work it out with the salesman. After about 15 minutes on hold, Customer service came back on the phone and told me that someone from the Dublin store would call me within half an hour. At the end of the day, no one had called me and I still don’t know when I’m getting my furniture.

We had been to another store looking for a new mattress and took a break for lunch. When we finished our next stop was Ashley Furniture. We walked in and were greeted by Tahir as we came in. He asked what we were looking for and listened to us unlike the last store. He showed us a few beds but we chose one he had shown us earlier. She needs training in quality customer service, empathy . There are always exceptions in customer service and she showed zero desire to help she dresses very unprofessionally. I'm calling these people out by name because of the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, Evelyn, Star, Matthew, and Winnie, they are ALL #1,I purchased a sofa, a loung chair, and ottoman, and an entertainment center, they helped me, they listened to me, offered a variety of options, they all were Super Friendly, I never thought I could feel this way by going into a furniture store, if I had more money left I would have wanted to buy them all gift cards!! Whenever I need more furniture I now know I can definitely rely on Ashley in Dublin. They have a great team of people who are ready to go the extra mile for you, I don't k.ow what they get paid but they ALL NEED A RAISE, I love them ❤️

Store manager Star is outstanding. Out of desperation I contacted her after 6 days of failed attempts to try to get through to another Ashley store to speak to the manager about an issue. Even though I had not purchased the furniture from Dublin, Star immediately took ownership on behalf of the company, reached out to the necessary resources, and escalated what was appropriate so that I could receive resolution. Her leadership skills are exemplary. This level of customer service is practically unheard of nowadays. Incidentally,tge same day I spoke to Star, the manager of the store I purchased from called me and is going to now be able to resolve my issue satisfactorily. This is no coincidence. Star went above and beyond to the point that if I ever need to buy furniture again, it will be worth trading to Dublin.

We selected a date for our bed frame to come. We confirmed that it would be ready to ship and available. As we waited today for the delivery, we found out that they pushed back the date and a part was on back order. They never notified us that the part was on back order when we did the initial purchase. The purchase was contingent on it coming within 2.5 weeks. They didn’t deliver. When we asked for them to just bring the foundation of the bed frame and bring the missing storage piece later on, they refused n said they don’t do partial deliveries. It’s said because I have bought so much furniture from there, so the fact that they wouldn’t accomodate the partial for Their misinformation or rectify the situation with a long standing customer, spoke volumes. Off to another store to get new furniture! Thanks a lot!

Avoid Purchasing the Warranty! I recently bought a granite table set and was persuaded to get the extended warranty, assured that it would provide comprehensive coverage for any potential damages. However, when I attempted to make a claim for a chip on my table resulting from simply resting my elbow too close to the edge, I discovered that damages related to stone were explicitly excluded from coverage. Reguard, the warranty service provider, does not honor claims for a wide range of items—I've attached a detailed list of exclusions for your reference.

Moved to the area and went in to buy furniture. Manager told me I couldn’t use my original Ashley credit card and had to open a new one. Went back to purchase more item and the sales rep charged my other credit car ( the one manager said I couldn’t use) long story short, unable to fix their mistake, reception in the front horrible attitude, never called me back and I am now paying two separate credit cards. I would not trust them, seems like they need additional training and there is always “ sorry, that’s store policy “. I will never purchase from Ashely.

I can’t thank David enough at the store in Dublin, CA. We were given an incorrect price when we originally were looking at a sectional. It was lower then went higher within a matter of 10 minutes! The pricing is very confusing even to the employees! We talked to the manager who talked to the upper management but they would not budge and make it right. So we looked at other websites which we weren’t familiar with who offered the couch at a much lesser price but we just weren’t feeling comfortable with so many mixed reviews! My husband and I loved the couch so we decided to go ahead with the purchase at Ashley! I called David and ordered it over the phone. The ordering process and delivery process (which I still feel we shouldn’t have had to pay for delivery since we were given an incorrect price in the beginning but that is managements fault not David’s but we wanted the couch so we had to pay!) we ordered on Sunday and couch was delivered Saturday! David said he would keep an eye on the price because if the price goes down within 30 days of our purchase they will match price it! Guess what? He kept his word and sure enough called us and let us know the couch went on sale and we got that discount!! Thank you David!! A testament there are still people in this world who keep their word and care! He didn’t have to but chose to and we appreciate you!!

Came into the store knew exactly what I wanted and wanted it to be quick. They forgot to put in the discount and over charged me $100. They couldn’t refund me in store. Was told by the sales manger he would call me to clear it up haven’t received a call for 2 days. Tried calling the store no one answers. This review is for Ashley's warranty and their their review team. Don't buy their warranty. It's a scam! I bought a bedroom set with a 5 year warranty. I reported damage to my dresser recently due to an incident where nail polish remover damaged the wood. They kept insisting accumulated stain and they don't cover it and they cover single incidents which this was. Their review team did not believe me. Absolute shame for this company.Update - The ashley review team never reached out to me. I sent them all the details but no response. I will never shop from them or recommend them to anyone.

I appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff at the Ashley store. They demonstrate a strong eagerness to showcase and sell their products. However, I have encountered significant issues with the products themselves. Despite multiple visits from technical engineers and even some parts being replaced, the problems persist. There seems to be a lack of resolution, and I've noticed that the technicians often attribute these issues to incorrect assembly by the third-party delivery team.Furthermore, I've found the customer service to be lacking. This, combined with a strict return policy that seems more focused on protocol than customer satisfaction, has been disappointing. In my opinion, this approach might lead to a loss of customers over time. Based on my current experience, which has been quite bitter, I am hesitant to consider future purchases from Ashley.

We placed a self pickup order in Dublin location. We were directed to call a number at Lathrop warehouse for self pickup, and we failed to fulfill that purpose since I was offered a wrong number. We drove 3 hours round trip and didn’t pick up anything. We decided to cancel order and that’s when nightmare started, It was a disaster. Staff at Lathrop location gave me a corrected number with which I presented to the manager of Dublin location, and she didn’t recognize this number. Their intra- store communication is poor and customers are taking the fall due to this lack of communication. And I had a pleasant experience with David until I initialized cancellation, it took him 4 days to cancel an order and eventually I needed to talk to his manager to get a refund. And there is no confirmation email for cancellation, nor a breakdown of that refund number, so I will never be able to know how the protection plan is prorated and adjusted accordingly. My suggestion is to finish your purchase within this location if you want to catch a deal. Once your order involves multiple locations, it could end very bad.

Delivery was delayed 4 weeks in a row. The sales person said the couch was in stock and would be delivered the following week. We were notified the couch had damage and changed the delivery date for a week later. We were then notified a day before the new delivery date would be the following week. Again notified the delivery date was pushed out another week. The day of the expected delivery date we did not receive any notification so I called and they said the item was on back order. They didn't even bother to let us know. Canceled my order and went to Living Spaces who delivered the same day!

We did not have high hopes for couches because most places the prices are extremely unreasonable but not only did we find something we absolutely loved but our experience was worthy of a review. From the moment we walked in Tahir greeted us, had a measuring tape for us to figure out the furniture size. Not only did he show us to a few pieces but he also showed us some under our budget instead of “the nicest most expensive” which is always appreciated. A great big shout-out for Leon of the Ashley Dublin store. Although we had found similar furniture that we could have purchased at other furniture stores, the ultimate reason why we decided to make a very large ticket item purchase with Ashley's is because of the truly outstanding customer service provided to us by Leon. In their nice showroom he took the time necessary for us to provide him all of the features we were looking for and to then spend considerable time discussing many furniture options available (with lots of trying out of all of the options in store). After discovering the perfect furniture then, with Sondy, also of the Dublin store, Leon put together the perfect package and got the deal done. Huge kudos to both gentlemen (especially you Leon for sharing all of your valuable time and knowledge with us in person) for bringing in two more satisfied customers to the Ashley Furniture family!!

We visited the Dublin store in search of a large wall art. An Asian man greeted us at the door and said make me work. We told him we were looking for wall art we viewed online. He walked us over to the wall art we decided against because it was too dark for our home. However, we walked around and found another print we fell in love with, and we told him we wanted to buy this one. He told us the price was $239.99. My husband said he would like to put it on his Ashley credit card, and he told us there's a minimum limit to use the Ashley credit card, and that's $500. He said we would have to charge it to one of our personal credit cards, which we felt was very strange. He suggested we order it online when we got home; it struck us odd that we could not buy this right now in the store using the store's credit card. I would have to go home to buy it. We were disappointed that we could not use the Ashley credit card as other stores have no minimum limit.Can we interpret Ashley's policy as we cannot go there to buy four plates and four placemats and charge it on our Ashley credit card because it is below $500.00, which is not allowed? We walked away, puzzled. I stopped an employee walking by to inquire about a dresser. His name was William, and he informed us he was returning from lunch. If we give him a few minutes to clock in, he will gladly help us. William was a breath of fresh air, so positive, unlike the first salesperson, the negative responses. William explained each bedroom set to us. He started a shopping cart and said you have wall art in your cart. I replied yes, please remove it, He asked if we no longer want it. I said yes, we do, but the first man said we couldn't use our Ashley credit card to buy it b/c it was only $239.00, and Ashley's policy has a minimum purchase limit of $500. He said we could go home and buy it online. William apologized and said that's not true. I'd happily ring up the wall art and charge it to the Ashely credit card.The following line is for Ashley's management team."You need to acknowledge and praise William for saving you a customer. If he hadn't crossed our path and allowed us the opportunity to buy the wall art at that time or been 100% honest with us, you would have lost not only this sale but future sales and a customer. I suggest you speak to your team member who feeds us false information about Ashley's credit card policy because he prefers to refrain from making small purchases under $500.00. Please keep in mind Store INTEGRITY is enormous in today's society. It can make you or break you."Thank you, William; you are a phenomenal employee with integrity and exceptional customer service. You made us feel we were important to you.

The customer service at this store is horrid. We received the wrong item multiple times, items that weren’t even pre-assembled in the warehouse prior to delivery. Delivery drivers are a third party and verbally abuse the customers in their homes. Do not purchase anything from Ashley. It is not worth the hassle.

I will never buy Ashley Furniture as long as I'm breathing. The quality of your customer service call center, the delivery and even the workers at the store aside from the sales rep who helped me with this order is below 2nd class. I am so upset I want to find a way to tweet this so no one ever has the same horrible experience my 80 yr old grandma just had. Wrong delivery date, wrong address, wrong time, and most of all WRONG ITEMS. Thank you for ruining our day. You may be in business now but base on this experience your cost of labor and financials are likely declining. There is no way a brick and mortar store could stay in business operating so poorly.

I was looking for a recliner for my mom, something that is comfortable for her to sit in. I was greeted by Akash who was able to show me different types of recliners - power and manual. After looking and trying out some of the recliners, I settled on one that was plush with microfiber material and that could be charged once a month. Plus the recliner could be delivered really quickly.He was very pleasant, not pushy at all and let my daughter and I try out the recliners. After purchasing the recliner, we said that we wanted to check out the mattresses but weren’t going to buy. This other salesperson came by and asked who was helping us and I had said Akash’s name and she then proceeded to talk with him. She then came to us, said that Akash needed to be taking care of his customers in such a snotty way. I did not care for her demeanor and throwing him under the bus. I did allow her to show us some mattresses but left after 10 minutes. There’s no reason to treat your co-workers like that just to make a sale. Aside from her, Akash was very nice and helpful and strongly suggest for others to seek him out for your furniture needs.

Leon was a great salesman at the Dublin store. However, the delivery and assembly of the multiple pieces of furniture my wife and I ordered was absolutely unacceptable. As well as the process to repair the damaged furniture we received was awful. We were forced to jump through numerous hoops in order to just return the broken furniture that was sent to our house. I wish I could give this place 0 stars!Please DO NOT buy from this store. It took 10 months for my bed, dressing table, and side table to get delivered and set up. The customer service was horrible. There was no coordination between the employees; some gave me a lead time of 2-3 weeks and others gave me 2 month lead time. The customer service reps didn’t even know what was in stock. When I visited the store to get some help, a Caucasian women at the front desk named Ann/Anne was extremely rude, racist, and unprofessional. After multiple store visits, I finally got hold of the manager who helped me out. Save your money, buy good quality furniture from better alternatives.

I have visited Ashley(Dublin, CA) store 2 times and spent 4 to 5 hours to shop around. All the items in the store is very expensive and their store price was not even matching with their price on their website.In the store, The price of the in-store items doesn't match when they add items to the cart and they increased the prices more than the price they displayed on the item in the store. I was surprised when I reviewed all the items and the price difference between the order & the display price. Overall it was around $5k price difference.I have ended up paying more than $5k while compare to their online price.I would not recommend to buy from Ashley, Dublin CA store. In case if anyone would like to buy, I would suggest don't trust the sales person & sales manager, please do some research about the pricing and negotiate about the pricing.

I went in to this Ashley store already knowing which dining table I wanted. Galilea helped me throughout the whole process and provided exceptional care throughout. Galilea wanted to make sure that I knew my options as she showed me other table sets that were nice but more affordable compared to the one I initially had my eye on. She explicitly did not force me to choose one choice over another. Galilea had the great idea to help me measure the tables we were looking at and compare it to see how it would fit in the size of my dining room. I greatly appreciated her help, patience, honesty, and attitude throughout the whole process. I did not feel belittled, only understood for what I wanted. In the end, I purchased the dining table set I had originally came in for. Galilea also put in the work to make sure I was paying a great price for it, not anything more than what was the sticker price. My mom and I couldn't be more happier with the service and table set!

I want to give a big shout out to Ashley Furniture sales associates David, Jeff and Lina who helped us on several occasions to purchase multiple pieces of furniture for our new home in the last two weeks. Everyone was very kind and super helpful to assist us. They allowed us to walk around and see what was available on the sales floor, answered any of our questions regarding the furniture, delivery, discounts and warranties and genuinely tried to get us the best deal possible. He is knowledgable and cares about what customer needs. We are just canvassing at this time and not yet decided where to buy. Both the service and the store is nice! Well lit and clean organized. They were greeting us right away and a sales person was helping us. First time at this store and we realized it is not for us. The displayed furniture are not lasting type, the color options are bland or very safe: lack of better word unimpressive. We like colors and furniture you use for a generation. The costs are friendlier than nearby furniture store but you get what you pay for. We are not Ashley customers that is all, and very certain there are many that love it too! So nothing personal, just personal preference we would opt else, for more lasting quality and domestic craftsmanship in mind. Now the fact their service persons and the place being nice and professional we rate accordingly even if we will never return, but they service a crowd we are not part of and seen to be doing well!

The savings is not worth the headache. Several pieces were either delayed (even thought the salesperson said they were in stock) or they came damaged. In the past year since we ordered our furniture, we have had five different technician visits and waiting for our sixth one next month. We have had parts incorrectly ordered multiple times and each time they don't order it correctly, they have to send a technician out to inspect the part. One technician left in the middle of a repair and didn't come back, another one broke a chair and didn't say anything and left us to discover the problem, and the supposed technician manager talked about how great he was and his repair to our drawer didn't work and he didn't order one part correctly and didn't even order another part at all. And each time someone messes up, you have to go through a painful process of trying to get ahold of someone at Ashley, for them to find your order again, and then for them to schedule another technician.

It’s an unscrupulous business. I’ve ordered a sofa with 3 little tables from them 6 months ago. They delivered sofa as expected and asked to wait for several weeks for the tables. After 3 months in I came over the place (because they never answer the phone) and the customer service person pretended to check something and told me the tables will be delivered next week. They didn’t. I came over again and the story repeated. I came over the third time and asked for refund. Same customer service person pretended the refund is done and I’ll see it in 3 business days. I didn’t see the refund either.

I purchased furniture from Ashley's Furniture along with the there premium protection plan and when I purchased my furniture I paid in full with cash. The first time I called the protection plan about a stain I had on my sofa I was told that the plan didn't cover that even though the plan clearly states that it covers stains, so I called a carpet cleaning company and they came out and cleaned my sofa. I went into the store a few weeks ago looking for something and while I was there I asked the sales associate about the pillows and cushion on the sofa because they were beginning to go flat, she informed that that my protection plan would replace the pillows and cushion for one time and I needed to call the protection plan company and make sure I have my original invoice, I thank her and left the store. When I called the protection plan company I was told again that was covered under my plan, I have found out through this whole situation that Ashley's Furniture is not the company that they claim to be and the protection plan that they offer customers is not what they claim to be. I have paid for something that doesn't work and when I called there customer relations number to find out how I could just order new pillows and cushion for my sofa the Representative told me I needed to give her a serial number which could be found on either the cushion or on the bottom of the sofa. I have never experience such a rude and unprofessional company in my life from Ashley's customer relations to the employee’s and managers in the store. A very dissatisfied customer will never purchase anything else from that company nor will I ever recommend they store to anyone I know.

I bought some furniture from them, entire time till the end they said that it’s easy 0% finance scheme for two years, but the sales person did not let us know that we will get that finance in credit card, and he took my sign on the tablet and applied ashley credit card, it’s a bluff because any credit card gives you interest free payments for first two years. They make you fool and apply credit card for you and it’s hard inquiry on your credit.

In Store Buying Experience : The display was good and the associate has given us enough time to show the items. He also created the invoice. However he made mistake on a queen bed and ordered it in bad configuration. He also overcharged my credit cardDelivery: The delivery intimation was good but the delivery boys are not professional. They dragged some furniture on the floor scratching it.Correcting the Misconfiguration: The sales men corrected the misconfiguration but they wrote a new sale for whatever reason they did not explain.Adding some extra points: I bought dorrington tv stand from Ashley. Along with it i bought a setup and delivery. The delivery boy came around 9 PM and said they want to keep the item. "They will come tomorrow and assemble it " I said I have bought the setup and delivery so they are supposed to assemble it. Then they called some one ans said that it was their boss and their bos said that this item will not be assembled. I said that I already paid for the setup. Either you setit up or take it away. It was utmost harassment for me and my family. **

Worst furniture buying experience of my life! New mattress was delivered yet the techs did not know how to connect it and it was missing brackets to hold split king pieces together. Manager was friendly while we were purchasing but when we had to make multiple trips back to the store for resolution, he acted like he did not know who we were or what our issue was……and left the floor so he did not have to deal with us. We purchased an entire bedroom set and mattress in January 2022 and delivery was just completed in May 2022. While there were delivery issues related to COVID, we are not complaining about these. I will never use Ashley again to purchase furniture, they never fixed our bed, my brother finally was able to get missing brackets from Sealy and finish installation. The sight of the manager running to the back room should have been my clue, they were not willing to assist us with proper bed delivery.

Ashley's in Dublin have the worst customer services I have ever experienced. I went in to the Dublin and was greeted by Bill a transfer from Concord Ashley Store. He was not very pleasant and spoke very dry and unconcerned. He walked us to the back of the store, and rather than assisting us he pointed across the room and told us when we find something of interest we could walk back to the front of the store and let him know, what we had found.Not at anytime did he come to check on us. He sat at the front of the store with his back turned at facing the front door. Moving forward I had to walk the store to find help, one older gentleman did give us some assistant. I eventually had to find another sales associate, I believe his name was Ken or Kevin a older Asian gentlemen. he stated out helping, but a couple that had left the store came back walked over and rather than him telling them I'm with another client and will help you later or calling for help. Kevin/Ken walked us to the counter and requested that another associate an African American gentlemen call to get my credit information, the African American associate was not very pleased and expressed this to Ken/Kevin that he had a habit of pushing his job onto others. Kevin/Ken pointed across the floor and state that the other clients had returned and had a big order. I was very insulted it should not matter how big or small the order is, all client's should be treated the same, with respect. Kevin/Ken walked away and left me and my family member standing there. At this point the current sales associate did not have a clue on how to utilize my credit account, which was through Ashley's, I explained that Bill was the person who helped me obtain the account in March of 22. When the associated requested Bill's help, Bill was very bitter, and refused to help, Bill stated, I quote, " How do you expect me to remember every customer I help, you need to figure it out." Bill turned and walked away, mumbling under his breathe, please keep in mind he was the original associate that I stared with. Because the associate and the in store customer service ladies could figure out how to pull my credit account to order the furniture , they implied that perhaps I was mistaken and never had an account , they actually stared ignoring me. I was so embarrassed. I went into my email, and pulled up the account information and the account number, that showed I had a valid account with a substantial amount of credit to make the purchase. I felt obligated to do this because the African American Associate kept implying to another associate, I quote, " This young lady claims to have an account, that I can't locate". Once again I felt humiliated and embarrassed.Finally the customer service lady, said oh yes, I see the account is valid, but she has to go back to Concord, because for some reason this particular finance company will only allow you to order at the original store you opened the account at. I knew that was not true, they should have admitted they just didn't know how to proceed or just call the credit card company to get help. I phoned the credit card company this morning as as figured they all lied, they simply needed to call the customer service for assistance on how to pull the credit information. Did I mentioned I had to flag Kevin/Ken down to get the order numbers on the furniture, he was not particular even then, because he had to leave the customers with the big purchase. All three associated walked away, not saying thank you for waiting 2 hrs. in this store although we could not help you. The associates are always very dry, never smile, and appear to be unhappy working for this company. Being unhappy with your place of employment is not an excuse to pass that onto customers. I will never recommend anyone to Dublin Ashley's, one reason that I came back to that location was to support Bill, not sure what has happen to make him so unpleasant, at the Concord location he was always pleasant. I'm very upset and disappointed with the way I was treated at Dublin Ashley.PJ

I won't recommend anyone to go to the Dublin Ashley Furniture store buy any things from them . They funny things whenever I go inside the store asked about the manager they lie to me saying the manager is not available. Hopefully any one else doesn't get this worst experience with them .

Had a very good experience on this store. Apart from their good furnitures, the sales rep named Jake & the store manager, Kenneth were the most kind & easy to work with. They will work with you within your budget. Will definitely recommend this place !

My Sales Rep was David Han. He was very patient and professional. He even carried the purchase to my car. Five plus stars for David.As for the Ashley Store, this was my first time in the store. Ashley has some policies that I cannot agree with. First of all the amount of paperwork for a $99.00 sale, (small table). I believe I signed my name five times. What a waste of a tree. Also very time consuming for the customer and the sales associate when other customers are waiting. Next, why can't art and wall hangings be taken home for a trial? Ashley lost at least a $500.00 sale with me today because I was not allowed to take wall hangings home for even 48 hours. Ashley will lose allot of sales!The employees work hard and were very busy. they would have had more time for customers if there had not been so much paperwork.There was also an associate, did not get his name but he mentioned he lived on a large piece of land in San Leandro. He was able to find a small missing part to the table I was purchasing. He also went above and beyond.

Ordered bedroom set on Memorial day 2021, 10 months waited for it to get delivered. Every time I called they gave me date of 2 months further until I had it enough when their products were constantly in back order. Bought my furniture here in January it was delivered on Jan. 20th. The delivery guy broke the leg on my sectional and told me someone would be out to fix it within a week. That didn't happen. So, I contacted Ashley on chat 4 times to get a replacement, each time I was told they ordered the part and it would be delivered soon. It wasn't. I even filed a complaint and asked for a partial refund and for someone to contact me. That didn't happen. Here I am in March, no one has fixed it, sent the part or contacted me. I will never buy from Ashley again.

SO YOU ARE EXPECTED TO MAKE A PURCHASE DECISION WITHOUT HAVING SEEN THE FURNITURE AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK, ONCE DELIVERED.At the time of purchase, I was told by a Salesperson about a 72-hour return policy. I went to the Store to return an item within 24 hours of delivery and got the message above from Customer service. If a salesperson tells you verbally about the return policy, ask for it in writing to avoid the problem that I ran into.

We had a positive experience and found more than we were actually looking for. We had an issue with our payment and returned to the store to get it resolved. Our salesperson was not at the store, nor was there any customer service employee. However, the manager took the time to address our problem and we are looking forward to delivery of our new sofas.

We made a change to our order the day of purchase that decreased the amount that we owed. It has been over a month and we are still waiting on that reimbursem*nt.To add to that, one of our pieces of our sectional was damaged. A tech came out to look at it and said the store would replace it and that someone would be contacting me to make the swap for a new piece of our sectional. No one has contacted me for a week and no one picks up at their store.Update: An Ashley rep contacted us after posting this review and apologized for our situation. The damaged pieces of our sectional were replaced within a week and our reimbursem*nt was promptly delt with. I don't think I'll be returning to this store in the future, but I appreciate the help that the local rep was able to provide.

Jose was a great salesperson. He can read the room. He left me alone to browse and returned to answer questions. No pressure. I scoped out my favorites and returned the next day with my husband. Jose remembered me and took us directly to my favorite. He and his manager Kenneth closed the deal with some nice discounts and delivery was set for the following Thursday. Delivery went perfectly. Unpacking, assembly, verified it all worked as expected, shown how to assemble for the future, clean up and removal of all packing materials. Everyone who took part was professional and competent.

No one else came up to offer help or asked if we've been help.Mind you this isn't real wood furniture but sheesh you could make it a pleasant experience.Some furniture such as couches and artwork was pretty cool but dining and bedroom furniture was some type of plastic like wood.The lady received our purchase and it took forever to wrap up the sale. Somehow from purchasing a TV stand/console we got some item we did not purchase. She added a $99. Gbs Ultra tech hi pro queen pillow...we only came for a console.Watch your receipt when you get your purchase complete.

I bought a recliner sofa from store that was delivered damaged. The delivery guy said he has taken picture of the part that is damaged and store will call to get it replaced. When I did not get any calls I went to store to complain about the damaged item. The customer support lady said delivery guy did not report the issue. Then she said yes she sees the picture of damaged item. I was told the technician will come and if I do not like fix they will replace the item. Seeing almost reaching 30 days of purchase went to complain that I can not wait for technician any more and I want part replaced since it was delivered damaged. They declined to request to replace the item damaged. They also say once item is delivered and can not be returned. When I asked why the delivery guys gave me damaged item and why they told me that store will replace the item, their answer was that those are contractors not Ashley employees. I just feel cheated and helpless that Ashley delivered me a damaged item and I can neither ask for replacement of the damaged part or can not even return within 30 days.

Very disappointing experience with this store. Their store manager advertises about customer satisfaction guarantee but after delivery they don't fulfill it. Will never buy anything from this company in future and advise everyone to stay away.The store manager Chris and sale person advertised Tempurpedic mattress with 90-day return/exchange policy and advised me to wait at least 30 days to get adjusted to the mattress. Now, after 45 days the store says there is no such policy and Chris has already left them. What a bummer!

They delivered damaged material TWICE, never called to follow up, even though they said they would. It has been >4 months since we ordered our furniture and we still have not gotten it. Really regret buying here. Avoid Ashley and save yourself months of frustration and disappointment. No dining table for our holiday family gathering due to Ashley’s lack of reliable service.

Very bad experience. We just moved to bay area a few months ago. We are from Southern California and lived there for about 30 years. Recently we spent almost ten thousands dollars at Ashley’s store in Dublin because of offered promotion. Unfortunately there were some missing parts when we received the furniture. We were given the warehouse number to resolve the problem. So far it’s going nowhere. The store staff said they could not control the warehouse and the warehouse staff said they didn’t know what’s going on. I made many attempts to resolve this issue but no good. I told the store staff that this should be noted to the BBB.

The manager, “Chris”, at the Dublin store is rude and unprofessional. I will not do business with this store if he is still working there.The salesman, Nana, was wonderful. I purchased a sofa. The next day I found the same sofa cheaper online so I called corporate Ashley to discuss. They opened a case and requested the Dublin store to look into it. Chris, the manager of the Dublin store (11-22-21), berated me over the phone about the price and told me I got a good deal and the web will always be cheaper even if it is the same company. I said I want to cancel my order. He ranted some more and then hung up on me. I wish this conversation was not over the phone but in person!!!!

Quality furniture, and a reasonable price if you catch the fall sale. Have purchased here twice and salespeople are very friendly and helpful. However all their sales must be entered in the computer by the supervisor (who decides on what the discount will be) and on our most recent visit the supervisor was not wearing a mask during this pandemic. I don’t care about your politics we are in a pandemic. If you cared about your customers you would put their safety first. Not to mention it’s an Alameda County health department directive that facial coverings are required at all indoor businesses. Please show more concern for your customers who are in at-risk age groups

Nana was a great sales person, greeted us upon entering and resolved our queries. Then we explored the entire store. They have an excellent lavish collection of home decor and furnishings. Too expensive for some I guess, but it's unique. They charge extra for home delivery and you'll have to visit there in person while ordering.I got several ideas to renovate my home.

The store is beautiful, the sales person was great... but that's where it all fell apart. They gave me a delivery date of September 11 but said I would hear from them the day before. When I didn't hear anything, I called, was on hold for over an hour, just to be told that my furniture was delayed by 2 weeks. A The person who answered my call told me that part of my furniture was in the warehouse and they could deliver it a week later, the bedframe, but the part that holds the mattress wasn't there yet. Why would you offer me my bedframe when the parts to hold up the mattress are not there?? No one ever called me and said anything. I already got rid of my old furniture, so I'm stuck in an empty house for 3 weeks. I have been trying to get back in touch with the store to make sure that my furniture will be delivered on the new date of September 26 but I can't stay on hold for hours... I feel like the store is good making the sale but don't care what happens to you after that. The sell the dream, the customer deals with the nightmare. I would have canceled my order had I not got rid of my old furniture. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again.

The first time I came here, i was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. I ordered a few items and they all came as promised. The second time, I ordered four pieces. My sales person, Marryem, took off and didn't come back to me. First red flag. I still got her to help place my order despite her being distracted by the other people she could get commission from. She told me she was going to give me more of a discount than the sales price. Never got it. First delivery date came and went and I had no follow up. I texted her and called her. No response. Somehow, I got a hold of another live person and he told me the new delivery would be last Monday...no furniture. Now I'm calling, texting, and getting online to get a credit, call Marryem out for her lousy service, and get a new date for delivery. Their online system is not efficient as you are on hold forever and then you get disconnected. I will be in the store this weekend to get answers and my money back.

The store was busy due to it being Labor Day weekend, but we were still greeted and checked on by associates. In the end we purchased an entire new family room set because the quality is fantastic, the deals were great and the service was extremely helpful. Satisfied customer. We will definitely go back!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They cannot be bothered to answer the phone and I've been waiting almost 5 weeks now to get a hold of the store manager after having a terrible delivery experience and received broken furniture as well. Opened a case with thier central support and that was open for 3 weeks before they attempted to just ship out new items instead of calling me back about my poor delivery that I want my money back for. I've talked to now 3 people at the store that promise the manager Chris will call me back but it's been 3 weeks since then and they have not answered the phone even after calling 9 times in a row! How understaffed can you be?! when I last went to the store there was a dozen people standing around and bothering me when I was trying to pick out items. I'll never shop here again that's for sure.

We are shopping for recliners and we heard Ashley quality is good. We stopped at our nearby store and they had 50%store wide sale. Recliner we liked was quoted 2500$ and after the discount they said 1300$ + delivery. Delivery takes 2 weeks. When we came home and checked online. The price was 1500$ for the same piece with 2 weeks delivery time. So these 50% sale are fake and eyewash. When checked with online assistance they said thats how the licensing works. I can understand a diff of 200$ between store and online. But 1000$ increasing price and then lowering .. Not fair

I had the worse experience with my order placed back in March. The sales person and service received at the Dublin store was great. But committing to delivering my furniture was a whole different story. At time of order, I was told there were some delays going and should expect the delivery by May the latest. ok, fine after that, I was promised order was going to be delivered by June, then it was moved to July, then moved to August, apparently due to a couple of items still not been in stock. All would it have been okay, but why not be upfront to the customer, don't promise what will not happen, and customer service should advise reason, if the delivery dates stated are tentative then say it, and relate to the customer the reason for the delay. I had to be the one reaching out for delivery status. I have been a client of Ashley this has not been my first order, but for now, It will be. I cancelled the order, and will not consider buying again from Ashley.

Dear Sir,I went back to Ashley to purchase a cot that cost that nearly cost me $1800.First - the delivery is so late, falling by more than 2 weeks after their initially promised date.Second, the box spring gives up within a week of purchase.Third, their customer care does not want to replace the faulty product, but would want to "REPAIR it" - common I did not purchase a $1800 product to not be treated as a new one, but as an old one to REPAIR it?The reason given was though the product was faulty within a week, they should have been told within a week itself - it is just around 20 days now when I am reporting it.Fourth, their expectation is that the customer needs to inform within a week, but their technician would inspect the product after 20 days - that is the earliest that they can have this happen - what a standard for customer servie this escalation manager has set here.Fifth, I did not trust this conversation from Ashley and wanted them to send a written communication, the manager says first she will not, then with great difficulty she is made to accept to send a confirmation on the next steps, she says that she sent the email - while I dont receive it. I am adamant this time to tell her that I will not drop off unless the email is sent and how could the previous email come over while this one is not coming through. She says that she is sending the email again and this time it comes through.Sixth, while I say that their product is by itselft not trustworthy, their protection plans never work - they will have enough excuses to not do what you would actually expect from the protection plan. I realised this when I wanted to get something done on the previous purchase - that is another story by itself.dont waste your time and money on Ashley - this is what you will get in return - if you are not lucky, you will end up getting a defective product - that will be attempted to be repaired. They will never accept their fault.Regards

Its a good store, quiet a lot of options, and people seem quiet helpful as well. But overall, Ashley probably in itself could use some streamlining and basic payment/checkout process. The guy first writes everything, literally everything on paper, then types the same thing on ipad, then sometimes again in computer, and try to pay via ipad, that doesn't work, then go up and down the store to figure out where to checkout from, and finally process the payment from one corner of the store, but there won't be any paper in the printer, then you go back to the front, then collect prints, sign, makes copies .. hush.... and then you can go. And this doesn't even include the case where you need things delivered... Again, no complaints with the store, or people in the store, Ashley in itself probably could use some streamlining...

Buying new furniture is stressful, but Nana, the sales rep, was awesome and attentive and funny and we were laughing the whole time. He is an awesome rep and he was genuine. He made it worthwhile.10/24 - After three delays on an armless sofa we went back to the store. Immediately upon entering the store, we actively searched for Nana. We wanted to find out what was in the warehouse that could be delivered more quickly and Nana was on it. We found what we wanted and the store worked with us to change the original order and go with new items that would make it to our home faster. Awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shady place. Pricing is non transparent and they shove down furniture protection plan on you regardless of what you say. The salesman I was with, Wayne, was great. He was knowledgeable, non pushy and patient. But his manager was unpleasant and car sales types. But after investing hours looking for stuff I didn't have energy left and couldn't spot their gift card fraud. They promised 150$ gift card in the deal but it was nothing but a text in email thats not a genuine gift card (for which I had to follow up for 2 days). I will research how i can report this fraudulent practice.

This place is a joke. They don’t answer the phones and have automated messaging related to covid they say is no longer accurate. It was nearly impossible to get anyone to help us. We went in because of a deal advertised on a postcard for their store specifically and they wouldn’t honor it. There were multiple people arguing with reps about how they misrepresented fees and terms. Go anywhere else.

It has been a disaster. We purchased 2 loveseats with power footrests and headrests. The loveseats were components with the right and left armleft chairs with the separate arms which attached. It was to be delivered in 4-6 weeks. It came after 7 weeks. However 1 component was missing a left armless chair. So we had a loveseat with only 1 side, and an arm which sat by itself. The other loveseat was ok. This was Friday. We were told the missing component would be delivered on Sunday. It wasn’t. Then we were told it was coming Monday between 8-12. It wasn’t. Then 2-4pm Monday. It wasn’t. Then 2:30pm on Tuesday.I believe they don’t gave the component and that is why they keep promising it but not delivering it. Right now I would prefer they remove the entire order.

The variety of sofas were huge. I found a sofa that I really liked it after I visited four furniture stores. And the seller Zully was great because she helped me to see in a computer app if the sofa and the tables fitted in my room and showed me different tables and styles goods for the sofa. We visited the store in Dublin, CA and purchased a set of loveseat and square armed sofa. The sales rep named Wayne Roach showed enough courtesy and give us comprehensive explanation regarding the products. We were very much comfortable, with his gentle escort, to make our decision. Eventually, he gave us some discount and we had nothing to complain.My wife and I became really happy through this business with Wayne.

I purchased a furniture set in the beginning of April and while shopping I was told delivery would be late April. Before I even left the store the delivery date was "updated" to May 19th.Early May I reached out to customer service because I had not yet received confirmation on the delivery of my order. I was told my order was then pushed back until "sometime in July" -- I was then told that she would reach out to local warehouses to see if my shipment could be filled earlier and she would get back to me in 48-72 hours.As I'm sure you guessed, no one got back to me. I took it upon myself to call and follow up only to find out that my delivery date was further pushed out to August 3rd (at least there was an exact date this time).Needless to say, I didn't sign up for a 4 month delivery hold on furniture that cost over $3K or to be lied to about when my delivery would arrive. Safe to say I will not be back nor will I recommend this company to anyone.Be well.

We have nothing but problems and delays. Our salesperson was very nice and has been helpful through the process. First, the TV cabinet we ordered on-line came damaged. We contacted the manufacturer and 10 days later we got the damaged part. Second, the dining room table arrived as promised but the leaf does not fit properly and has a scratch and 4 of the 8 chairs are not level and rock. Another delay of 2+ weeks to get someone to come out a survey the problem. This doesn't mean it is fixed yet. Third, the order was not delivered complete. The dishes, place matts and rug did not show up with the dining room table, they are on backorder! It will be over a month before this is settled...if then. Not a happy customer especially since we were going to order more furniture.

It looks like when you are purchasing the furniture, the salesperson was very nice and promise you anything but when I went back for issue after the delivery, they have different attitude. However, the manager was nice and was able to help me.The delivery guys had no flexibility. They didn't have patient on where I want the furniture. For example, I asked my dresser put against one of the wall. He put it there but it was not straight, I asked to straight it out, he didn't see happen and said there where you want it. I have to reposition the furniture after they left.The bed is not screw tight so I need to go back to the store again. Let see what they will say.

Never again!1. Ordered several things most things arrived damaged or didn't arrive at all.2. Damage items never get fixed and you have to routinely call them to fix anything that arrived broken or crooked.3. Items are slated to arrive at a date, they push that date out without an apology or explanation. One item was set to arrive in October but then pushed to November, then December, then January. When it arrived, it was manufactured wrong.Just buy from Ikea since it is all flat pack junk furniture or buy from Wayfair etc.

HORRIABLE!!!!! Purchased a set of sectional Sofa, store sales rep told me arriving in two weeks when we made their credit card. Guess what? 4 or 5 times calling me to confirm my delivery date, never show up but re-schedule again, and AGAIN!!!!Ok I thought finally they are coming. Guess what, still missing a piece, the Ottoman which delivered days after.The Ottoman delivery finally came, then its concern has some issues from the first day it arrived as picture 1 shown. Ok then, call their customer service so that they could send technician. Guess what, their 1st technician came and told us there will be new replacement coming in 7-10 business days. Nothing happen whatsoever, no emails, follow up calls or anything.Then I called them and asked what's happening. They check the notes reported by the technician, the notes say: "adjustment on the leg." WHAT? What kind of adjustment you did, and it is nothing about the leg.Called again and they sent 2nd technician. A package came to the house few days after, was a cover, a new casing for the ottoman as picture 2. They did not fix anything, or replace it; just a cover.Ok then, when I tried to try the cover on, unzip from the bottom and surprisingly found it was broken. as picture 3.WOW, Ashley, you got me good. $259.99 for a 5 year furniture protection plan, that is how you deal with customers?

They have amazing home furniture products as other Ashley stores but I am writing this review just for one of the staff member "Sierra" who works in this location. I went for a price match there and the way she handled my overall order modification with at most sincerity and warmth was certainly pleasing. I have read online reviews that Ashley's customer service is not so good, but after today I guess there are people like Sierra trying to give their best customer service.Also, the stores manager "Sarah" and Sales rep Merriam was really nice too when I originally bought my living room furniture.

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM KAREN AT THE DUBLIN ASHLEY HOME FURNATURE STORE EVER!!!!!!!!! My wife and I purchased a couch from Ashley home furniture in dublin on Dec. 21st 2019. Initailly the customer service was great (purchased from Joe Li) and we were very happy with our purchase. when the couch arrived they had sent us the wrong back cushions. No big deal right? I called and told them what had happened and they said they would get the new ones out asap. Fast-forward a year later, we have made 4 work orders with them and they keep sending us the wrong parts. We provide pictures and explicit detail on what we need and each time they confirm, then mess it up. So today I decided to go in and speak with the manager. I spoke with Karen who said she couldent help us evem though our couch is under warrenty. Karen was extreamly rude to me and especially to my pregnant wife, Whom she called "fat lady" and other names I can't post on here. It wasn't until I got on the phone with corperate, when she decided she would actually do anything (which she didn't). When I asked if I could just exchange the cusions and brought them to the front, she accused me of trying to steal them. Now I have worked in customer service for over a decade in my life and I know things happen and mistakes get made, but dealing with karen was the worst and most disrespectful interaction I have had in my life with customer service. So much so that I felt the need to write this. Also Ironic that her name is Karen with the service she gave us. If I could I would push for her to get fired. She has single handedly made sure that I, nor anyone I know, will ever shop at Ashley Home Furniture again.

Ashley furniture texted me 3 times to confirm my delivery time. They left me hanging ALL day without so much as a call that they were not coming as scheduled. I tried calling the next day. All systems were down😡. So I went to the store and got totally dismissed. I have no idea if or when my furniture will be delivered. I will go back and demand a refund.I wouldn’t buy a garbage can from Ashley furniture.

I was at the Ashley furniture store in Dublin almost a month ago. I ordered a bedroom set. The sales person was a bit pushy which was really bothering me. I let him know that I wasn’t sure if the set would fit in my room. He said that I could cancel the order if I needed too but convinced me to take advantage of their promotion so I went ahead and ordered it. The very next day I called the Ashley store and cancelled my order. The customer service person said she would cancel it with no problem, conversation was short, however the wait on the phone just to speak to a live rep was about 1/2 hour. Weeks later, no refund. Called a few times, left messages and received not a single response back. Every time I call, it’s at least a 1/2 hour wait. I’m not sure why there is such a long wait to speak to a representative over the phone, are they really that busy? When I go into the store there are typically 3 times more sales people than there are customers. I have finally had to write a letter to the consumer complaints dept and attorney general. I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges. Such a hassle to go through. I was going to go back to the store and get a different bedroom set but not anymore. I will never do business with Ashley furniture again.

As I read other reviews of experiences at the Dublin Ashley Home Furnishing Store I am left wondering, did I go to the store on a wrong day? Staff were mediocre at customer service and not forthcoming to all details of my purchase. There was a lot of smoke and mirrors with regard to availability of the furniture until the credit card was swiped. A deliver date of 4 to 6 weeks out. This was not a big problem but something that seemed to be strongly withheld. Now 9 weeks later... No FURNITURE!!! I have called repeatedly to ask for status. Again smoke and mirrors. 9 weeks?? No FURNITURE!! Really, I could have kept my money and built my own furniture ahead of this time. I still have no answer on when I will get furniture. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Last time I bring my business to this store and company. Bad, just Bad...

I had the best the fastest the most efficient service at the Dublin Ashley store. Usha was our sales lady along with another manager they were very sweet and friendly. They accommodated us with quick service soon as we walked through the door. They were very knowledgeable. And the best part gave us unbelievable discounts and $300 credit also. Great discounts. I purchased a whole bedroom set. Prices are great! Their prices are unbeatable. I can’t wait for my bedroom set to arrive which they will set up by them with the removal of our old mattress. This store initially provides better deal but the product lasts hardly one year when tried filling claim with GBS they specify it is not covered need to talk with store. Ashley call center is just a joke they newer pick the call and even Ashley Dublin also does not pick the call. Better to avoid purchasing at Ashley. I had purchased for almost 8k and took a warranty but neither Ashley Dublin responds or GBS which is Third party warranty does not cover the warranty. Better to avoid purchasing from Ashley Dublin and try not take warranty from GBS you will just loose the money.

Worst experience of my life!!! It started out wellMy Boyfriend and I came to this location after difficulty with our online transaction. We already knew what we wanted, but Nana offered extra assistance and he was very funny. The transaction process was sort of long (1.5 hours) to process everything but I didn’t mind. When we returned home, we noticed that we were overcharged 10 dollars for bench and that our items were much cheaper on the website. I called the manager and she told us to come back for a price adjustment. I can’t remember her name, but she was y’all with black, shoulder length, wavy hair. We went back in today and we got a price adjustment from the manager. With all the mishaps, the great service made up for the challenges.Please check your receipts after purchasing.We were supposed to have our refund with 5 days and that was on May 22nd, it is now June 2nd.Our items arrived. Our drop off was scheduled between the hours of 3:00-7:00pm. At 9:00am got a call from the delivery drivers saying that they were 45 minutes away and asking if they can drop off our items early. They arrived and moved in all of our items. However, one of our dressers was obviously marked up. I showed the delivery driver and he said that the marks were apart of the paint. I told him that it was not a part of the paint. He then liked his shirt and tried rubbing the marks off. Our bench couldn't be taken off of the truck because it had the wrong hardware. So 2 of our 4 pieces were not useable. The driver seemed annoyed because of our questions and unsatisfactory. If I knew we would have such bad service, I would have opted to put the bed together ourselves. I refused to sign because we didn't receive all of our items, even though they made note of the hardware and scratches. I told them I wouldn't sign and one of the drivers told me that I needed to make up my mind because they had other things to drop off. They took the dresser out to the truck and I assumed they would come back in to check on everything else. My front door and screen door were wide open. After 10 minutes I went outside to check on them and they were gone. They didn't say goodbye or that they were leaving. The didn’t even come back to get the rest of the furniture. They were very unprofessional and I wish that I would have shopped elsewhere.I went to the store to complain the day of delivery and was told that I would have to keep the items that were left in my home, even though I did not sign for them and the delivery man left without taking them. Sierra told me that she would follow up with me the next day to get the other items delivered. After going home, I realized that I didn’t want anything else from their store. The next day Sierra called me to schedule delivery for the remaining items and I informed her that I wanted to cancel my order and that I would also like half if my delivery fee back. She let me know that she would have to ask about the delivery but I could get a refund form the bench and dresser. She said the refund should be in my account 2-3 days later, we’ll tomorrow is day 3 and I don’t have a refund yet. I am stuck with no items and no money. I am so upset with this company. I will be reaching out to the BBB and filing. Dispute with my bank.

I ordered a kitchen table, it was delivered on Monday. Once opened, my wife and I noticed that it was damaged. We called the same day, TWICE! Left messages, the following day. Well I originally left a 5 star. Our salesman was wonderful! Nice relaxed, not pushy-like the others. However, I’m back to edit that rating due to delivery.We ordered our furniture to be delivered about 5 days later. Answered their automated texting “yes” as we were instructed by our sales person (if you don’t your dropped from the route). We were text our delivery time frame. We waited. No delivery. 30 minutes past the end of the time frame we call customer service, they couldn’t even find our order for delivery! (On the phone for 45 min!) Couldn’t transfer the call to our local store. We were told the store would call us right back. Waited 20 minutes, no call. I got in my car and drove to the store. (I’ve been down with the flu 🤧) I spoke with the manager, she had not received a phone call from anyone regarding our order. She gets on the phone to the warehouse to research it as another employee calls the delivery driver. 45 minutes later she finds out it never made it on the truck because all three pieces were damaged. NO ONE CALLED. NO ONE LET THE STORE KNOW TO CALL THE CUSTOMER-US! Needless to say I was not happy but I didn’t have the energy to get fired up, it took all I had to drag myself in there. She told me the computer stated an order for all pieces were to be delivered to the warehouse Wednesday 2/6/20. She would call the warehouse Wednesday and see if she could get delivery by the end of the week. She called me Wednesday morning to tell me she would be calling the warehouse and would call me later that day. Here we are 2/7/20, Thursday, almost 5pm and have not received any contact.Side note...when we’re we’re purchasing our furniture a lady was in talking to another manager and she hadn’t received her or that was to be delivered. Chairs for Super Bowl! 🤔 Makes you wonder how often this takes place.

The folks out there on that day were not the best and being pushy and not really of much help with helping us find what we needed.Joe was the name of the person who was supposed to be helping us, but it was primarily because of him we decided to go elsewhere and I'm glad we did. I read some good reviews of this store, but I'm surprised at how they behaved when we were out there. Although this is walking distance from my home, I'd avoid this place for my future needs as well.

Many home goods here from furniture to items of decor. They have used good sense of color throughout the store you a greeted and made to feel welcome. A large store with lots to see.of course they offer decorator services. Prices seem more reasonable then some of the other similar stores. Some item available on line, double check pricing. IMPORTANT, If your item has moving parts, make sure you test everything before you let the delivery/installer people leave your home.

Sales Rep, David, and Manager, Terry, made our experience so enjoyable and painless.Both David and Terry spent time with us helping to pick out furniture, explaining the durability and functionality of the pieces we were purchasing, and we had such an awesome time working with them both.Every Sales Rep in the store was pleasant and engaging. We spent time there trying out mattresses and furniture, and both Terry and David were very knowledgeable about the inventory they sold. We laughed and had an amazing time with them.I will be returning to the Dublin store to work with them for my furniture needs as well. They provided the best Customer service I have experienced in quite some time.

Updated Review:BE FOREWARNED: please learn from my experience:Ashley has:The worst quality furnitureThe worst delivery service.The worst warranty service.The worst representatives.The worst service, over 40 minutes wait.Unless you are sleeping on bare floor with no other choice, avoid this terrible/ horrible company.I wish I could give them ZERO stars.They pass you from one representative to another not taking any responsibility for their terrible products. Each time had to wait over 40 minutes to talk to someone.This is a follow-up from my initial review:Be careful buying this brand of chairs (or anything else) from Ashley. The ones we saw at store had solid bottoms, but the ones delivered to our house has bands instead (see picture attached). These chairs are VERY uncomfortable and when sitting on them it feels like sitting on the bathroom because the middle gies way and feels empty.Also the fabric is bad and folds.The technician who came to our house lied to us and promised they would send us the correct seats with solid bottoms. He even asked when we would be home and the best time.When we called Ashley, they told us, he had put in the report, that everything was okay with no problem (Lie).Then the same tech and his supervisor came to our house and promised to take care of the problems, so far, nothing has been done (Jan 8, 2020)Terrible horrible company

Make yourself a gift of never shopping at Ashley HomeStore, Dublin for sure. Doubt that other locations are any better.Their furniture design and materials are ok, nothing astonishing though. However, their assembly, delivery, communication style, and corporate culture are atrocious.I second what other reviewers had already mentioned. Furniture arrives wobbly, chipped or otherwise damaged, not on time. The last one is only a slight understatement.

I left the below review right after I purchased the couches. However once the couches were delivered I felt as if they actually didn’t have the customer in mind. We bought the couches without seeing them and when they arrived they were not the color that was described online. We gave it a week and I still just didn’t like the color. I expressed my concern to Abby and she told me to come in to talk about it and maybe they could help me out. She couldn’t meet that day and I had a few things the next few days....I ended up coming in one week later and they completely refused to help or work with me. I left feeling so frustrated and like I had no options. There is no point in getting a good deal/discount, if the couches aren’t as they described and the store doesn’t care whether you are satisfied.Abby was wonderful. They matched our price from the website and even gave a discount from there! Friendly, clean, professional.

Horrible customer service!!! Drove all the way to Dublin from Fremont to purchase a couch i really like online based on information about a 50% off sale given to me by their telephone customer service rep. Only to find out that they mark up their items 50%!!! My sales rep Sahar was rude extremely rude and made the entire process super uncomfortable, did not bother explaining any of the paperwork she was demanding I sign and was bothered when I asked any questions. Their customer service line was much more pleasant but useless none the less. I will NEVER shop here again and discourage anyone from giving them new business.Also, I had images that show their pricing practices but was not able to.load them because google directs me.to maps when I try to load images. Wouldn't be surprised Ashley's has their page set up this way.

Multiple issues with this company and store. One of the managers which we interacted with on our purchase day made us feel extremely awkward and was unprofessional, however we still ordered because the associate which helped us was nice and listened well. After that, the company messed up the delivery and admitted that it was their fault, not ours (since as a customer, you have to confirm a few times). After this, they refused to give any free or discounted delivery even after the item was delayed over a week. We got offered a measly 50$ gift card. As for being a first time buyer from this company, I have no idea what is that cheap in a furniture store. I asked about items this cheap and the person answering said "I don't know" when I called to see if there was a solution other than the gift card and they also told me that the card cannot be applied to certain things and that there is no other solution. I have no idea if I like their items, quality, and I defiantly despise their customer service. This entire experience tainted my view of this company and their greed. I will never shop again with this company and I suggest others be wary as they care more about a 1 time purchase of less than 300$ more than retaining customers. You will most likely be treated like garbage after they have taken your money if you are unfortunate enough to encounter a problem.

We ordered a sofa, love seat and chair after visiting the store and the day of purchase everything was great. We decided to cancel the love seat before it was delivered and its been going on 3 months and I am still awaiting a refund. They've said 2 checks were mailed to my address, but they never arrived. Now I had asked for the check to be mailed to the store for pick up and I am still without a refund. I am hopeful to someday receive a refund, but we are going on 3 months now.. and no one calls to follow up. All I have to say is good luck if you ever cancel an item

Ashley was great during the sales process, gave great discounts and add-ons. However, the customer experience after sales during the delivery phase is extremely poor. They make tons of mistake during dispatch, never properly resolve the issues when you follow up in person at the store. They have absolutely the worst customer service over the phone who can’t properly resolve anything as well. The whole customer service keeps going in circle between reps at the store and the back office. The whole customer service is a joke with them!

I ordered a dining table from Ashley and when it was delivered, the table was sent without the screws. They told us we had to wait a week to get the screws and set up the table so we had to spend thanksgiving dinner on the floor this year. My mom was very upset about this but we decided not to make it a big deal and just let it be for the week. On the day they sent the tech, they did not send the screws with him and he was not able to set it up. So now we have to wait AGAIN for the screws to be sent out then reschedule another appointment with the tech. I’m very disappointed in this company. I was very excited for the new furniture to come in but they ruined it for me. I don’t plan on going back to this company ever again.

My wife and I purchased a bedroom set, two nightstands and a dresser. The experience was fine until I found out that they mixed up our orders with three other people. I was getting text confirmation for other people. The store scrambled to fix it and my delivery date got pushed back. They use third parties for everything so there is no continuity. I had to repeat the situation multiple times. They refunded me the shipping, which was fair. I wasn't going to leave a poor review about Ashley, mistakes happen.Our furniture arrived damaged. When I called they said they would send a "technician" to evaluate the damage and either repair it or exchange it. Repair it???? You sent me damaged items. The manager, Terry, said he would call me back in 20 minutes after I explained the situation. He never called... two days later I called back and he forgot many details about the situation. He apologized for never calling me back and promised that he would give me a call on Monday... it's Wednesday... guess who never called back?I am leaving this negative review because not only did I receive damaged items, the manager, Terry, lied to me twice. He is not a man of his word.

Thomas were great. Not pushy at all. Very patient, even with my 3 kids in tow. It was an unplanned visit that turned into my wife and I deciding to purchase a living room set. She and I took our time choosing our pieces, and the kids were getting restless around the 2 hour mark (ok, the whole time). Thomas and then Abby were cool with it. Both didn't roll their eyes after being asked the same question like 4 or 5 times. No problem, they just explained it again. Overall a very pleasant experience with the both of them. Got a pretty good deal, but the service was better than the deal.

The store is very clean and organized with a wide selection of any type of furniture you could possibly need. The prices are right for the quality of the pieces. Thomas was very helpful and patient with me as I examined probably every dresser they had on display. Furniture stores often try to push you to buy more items or add extra upgrades, however Thomas & David were very kind and did not pressure me to add any upgrades. Got my power recliner delivered today. I must say, i have never felt so bad. The piece was already nicked and the leather was a little damaged on the left arm rest. The right arm rest is not aligned well and i can see a hole between the right arm rest and the cushion. I need to make an effort to bend down and put my arm on the right arm rest.The recliner was assembled at my place and the delivery guy rushed back in a hurry. When i call the customer service within 5 mins of the delivery, their response was that they would send across a technician to see if that can be "Repaired". This is amazing "Customer Service". There is no point shelling hundreds of dollars and getting sub standard items delivered.The Sales executives are doing a good job of selling the items. Unfortunately, the manufacturing is very bad and there is very low to Non-existing quality control.

I wouldn't give them even 1 star. They have the worst customer service. Once your stuff is delivered to you, that's it....they just don'tbother to respond to your calls or messages, even if it's delivered to you with parts missing or broken. My furniture was delivered to me in June, a few broken and a few with missing parts. I had been calling them, their store in Dublin and their customer care. They have absolutely no respect for the customer. I even made enough trips to their store asking them to place an order on the missing parts. All they do is put up an "act" of placing it on their computers. It's been 3 months and Stillwater nothing. Pathetic. And when you go there, they shamelessly ask you to check out other stuff. BEWARE OF THIS STORE.

Recently we visited the store looking for a table and also as we have bought furniture protection from them to ask them to come and take a look at the sofa that we recently bought. Long story short the table price even with "manager's discount" was still way too overpriced and we decide to go with other store. However regarding the protection plan they started with "oh it doesnt cover this and that", although when you buy furniture from this guys they will tell you that it covers everything! We submited a request almost 10 days ago and they promised to send technician as soon as possible, aparently as we didnt buy their overpriced table they decided to cancel our request.DON'T FALL FOR THAT! What an absolute nightmare!!! For your sanity, avoid this store at all costs. We spent $7000 on furniture that they have managed to screw up delivering multiple times.Not one call from anyone saying "hey, we don't have your stuff." Spoke to several people at the store (CSR Sierra, Manager David, Manager Francisca, etc.) Lots of we will call you backs with no follow ups. Lots of promises that our stuff will arrive, but it keeps showing up missing pieces. Seriously, what good is a bed frame without supports? Still sleeping on my mattress in the living room because the $1000 half built frame is taking up space in my bedroom.This store is a joke, at this point all I can do is laugh.

Disappointed!! Had high regards for Ashley.... They promised delivery date of today to me and when I call the store they said that your item will arrive it 12 days from now. When asked why they start explaining twisted contract. The customer support stated that the item never arrived at warehouse and the store representative sates that the item left warehouse and that the reason i cannot cancel my order. The bed was for a kid and she was super disappointed as she has been waiting for the past week. Never ever buying from them again.. Seriously 20 days to ship a twin bed? I am all OK if this was explained upfront to me while placing the order.

Haven't even received our furniture and regret shopping here! They rescheduled our delivery time to a time we wouldn't be available. When I tried to change it they said they send an email to the warehouse. I received text messages still saying the items would arrive during the time we weren't available, so I rearranged our entire day to be home only to find out they never loaded the items on the truck. Then when I called they told me I couldn't even reschedule until 24-48 hours then it would be another 3-4 days for a delivery!!! So essentially another week to receive our items. Terrible customer service. Do not buy your furniture here unless you love headaches!!!

I dont recommend this store but I'm sure other Ashley stores are better.New update: after my review I received multiple calls from the store manager, and he wants me to remove my review if not he is going to cancel my order because of my review. So I did him a favor and I canceled my order due to store manager attitude.Here is my points:1. Taking too long for the mattress boxes (2 months)and no right approach to their customer.2. Missed the delivery date multiple times.3. Forcing store manager power and canceling people order that they are waiting for them a long time.All the items above will translate to the bad management style and poor customer service.Again, buying items with good prices doesn't translate to the good customer service. Product were fine and sales person was helpful during the purchase. The problem is that they promised any issue with the delivery i can call them afterwards. I bought a dining table with 6 chairs and 2 of the chairs delivered ended up being not leveled and wobbles. Called them, no answer. Showed up to store and manager said the technician would call me. Waited a week, no call. Called them and customer support said they scheduled me 3 weeks later. Not only did they not notify me and check if thats a good schedule for me, that’d a whole MONTH after i purchased the chairs and table. Now i am stuck with wobbling chairs for a whole month and HOPE they fix it right.Horrible experience after purchase.

It was such a great experience shopping at the Dublin location. Nadhim is an exceptional sales representative who delivered excellent customer service. His Manager, David also made the experience most meaningful when he helped us identify a bed set without the footboard storage. Ultimately, I was amazed with my shopping experience along with the price! Add that along with the quality of the furniture, ensures that I will come back to purchase our sectional and coffee table! Wayne was amazing. I spent a good portion of 6 hours at the store while Wayne patiently helped while I waited for my girlfriend and boss to approve everything. Francis was very helpful as well, she made sure we stayed in my budget and they were welcoming and courteous. I even came back the next day to purchase an entertainment center and change the coffee table. They did all this with no issue and made my experience with Ashley the best I have had with any furniture company. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone.I know where I am going when I need new furniture again!!

Top notch customer service, go meet with Wayne and his Manager David, 200% you will not be disappointed. I just stopped in the store to buy a Sofa and with the way myself and my family got treated with the explanation of the good deals and the best price and specially with the care showed by Wayne and David, we happily ended up buying Sofa, Queen and King Mattress set and Dining table with the best price that cannot be beaten by others. Dropped in on the fly after looking at sofas online, and I’m so glad that I did! Abby Huang and manager David Abelson were incredibly quick to help. I normally get ignored at furniture stores because I look “too young to make a big girl purchase,” but Abby approached me in such a kind, respectful manner. I had several sofa models in mind, and she directed me to every single one in-store. David was so kind to price match the online offer, and he and Abby both wrapped up my final purchase quickly and efficiently. I've had to update my review as the initial part of purchasing the furniture was a great experience but thereafter it is hell. I have yet to receive all my items. I purchased my furnitures 1 month in advance for delivery. I ordered a whole living room set, dining room table and chairs and an entire bedroom set. I was told all items will be in stock at my delivery time. A day before my delivery, I'm told that there are items on back order (parts of the bed). I had to leave out of the country after that delivery date so I requested for the Dublin store to find me the items ASAP for the second attempt at delivery. They found the items but the delivery could only be done during my absence so I asked my parents to drive one-hr each way and wait 4 hours to retrieve the items. To our surprise they still FAILED to deliver all parts of the bed, we only received the headboard and the footboard. My mother and I have spoken to several people from Ashley Furniture, all of whom who promise to call us back and they never do.We were even told that our account was closed because their call to us wasn't going through. Their workers have no problem using their personal phones to contact you and to have you come back to the store to complete a transaction but when it comes to trying to contact you, they will try from their work phone and if it doesn't go through, they just closed our account? But later I found out, they closed the account because the warehouse had already assumed I received all my delivery and already invoiced me. I basically haven't had a bed to sleep on for a month and now being told that is on back-order until July 2019. So beware buyers!

My 5 star rating is due to the excellent customer service that my Mom and I received today from David and Abby. Our sole purpose of visiting the store today was to return a recliner that we had purchased for my Grandmother on 05/03 that, unfortunately, it did not work out for her. Because Ashley does not issue refunds once the product has been delivered, we were left with the choice of exchanging it with something else in the store. Initially, we were not too thrilled about that option. But, we took a look around the store anyway, not knowing where to begin. David checked in on us from time to time and recommended other options on chairs that might be comfortable for my 94 year old Grandmother with her needs in mind, which was so kind and compassionate of him. After a while, he had some conference calls to take, so he sent Abby over to check on us and she was absolutely wonderful and patient with us as we were totally undecided on what we wanted. We finally decided on a living room set that had a promotion going on that included a 14pc sectional w/accent pillows, a coffee table, two end tables, 2 table lamps, 5 accessories, an area rug and a throw. Abby explained to us that we did not necessarily have to stick with the tables, area rug, lamps and accessories that were on display with the couch that we had wanted and she walked us around the store to show us different color/texture/design options that we could choose from. We did not feel rushed or pressured into making any impulsive decisions. Abby wanted to make sure that we were completely happy with the choices that we were making. David helped us along the way in the middle of his conference calls. Our shopping experience was really enjoyable and we were absolutely satisfied with our purchase. We will definitely be back for our dining room set after we take some measurements and have our living room set in place. Again, David and Abby provided excellent customer service, and are professional and friendly, and if I had the option to give them 10 stars, I would. They did not pressure us at any time and they payed attention to our wants and our needs and shared so many warm smiles with us and made us feel great about doing business with Ashley Home Furniture Store. They represent your company well and will keep your customers coming back and sharing stories like this to bring in even more customers to keep your business thriving. My boyfriend and I had a great experience here all thanks to an amazing salesmen named Joe. From start to finish he was extremely helpful without being pushy or overbearing. He had an awesome sense of humor and was clearly very comfortable in his job. He was knowledgeable on the stores products and was willing to take the time to check on things if he was unsure. He is a model of what a good salesmen should aspire to be! We went in to look around and we ended up buying a couch and dining set that we LOVE! I really like the set-up of this Ashley store. It’s always easy to find what I’m looking for. My most recent visit was to buy a wall mirror and had many beautiful options to choose from. It was difficult but found something that was perfect for my livingroom. The customer service was also great. They were attentive & quick. I always have a good experience at this store.

Very poor quality furniture. Brand new expensive leather sectional missing clasp/hook that connects pieces together. Pieces that fit together disconnects as soon as you sit due to wrongly placed clasp/hooks. All pieces are supposed to be same size but they are all different width (1-2 inch difference in seating area). Very very poor design and workmanship.Delivery was horrible too. Very rude guys who don't know what they are doing. Even their salesman at the time of purchase tells to check your delivery thoroughly before delivery guys leave because they probably know that delivery guys are inexperienced people who will just put pieces and claim it is installed.I understand they are not top brand and I do not expect much customer service but even with my low expectation my experience was horrible.

Horrible Service & Experience!We spent $10,000 in furniture and you have to choose what you want and the sales person has to copy information on a piece of paper off every single piece of furniture then walk over to a squirrel powered terminal and check to see if the product is in or when it will be available. Needless to say this is very inefficient and takes an enormous amount of time. The sales lady we worked with was patient and put up with a lot, but given the size of the company and how much money they have spent in buying trees! you would imagine they would get their sales staff some tablets and put QR code that would quickly pull up the latest information on pricing and availability and color options so they can provide timely service to their customers and help their sales staff, but giving them trees are more important I guess.Once you have gone through this process, you will be given a delivery date and some 3rd party logistics will call/text you several times to make 1000% sure you really want the product to be delivered on the day and time given to you; you have no choice except to accept the time they give you! You cannot say morning or afternoon, they will dictate to you and then they will arrive early by an hour and if you are not home, you will have to reschedule!We were given different dates when the parts will be arriving. Then came the myriad of texts and back orders and moving of the deliveries. They back ordered several items 2 additional times and not all the items they had confirmed 2 days prior to the delivery was delivered. I called the store and I believe I spoke to the office manager and she tells me "the date you are given is not a guarantee that you will get the items you purchased and scheduled will be available"!!? I know I only have a masters degree but I should have listened and stayed in school and gotten my PhD and maybe I could converse properly with this lady!I have hung up several times on these guys and I tell you, i am sure the luck of the draw works out such that some items are in and get delivered on time and perhaps people have a good experience, but the worth and the quality of a company shows in their process, approach and how they handle adversity. Now That I have said this, I am changing my score from 2 stars to 1 star.I am going to push out the delivery of the remaining items to March 10 (3 weeks from today) hoping everything will finally arrive. But as the wise store manager lady said, just because they schedule deliveries for a particular day, doesn't mean you will get it! Wow, such wisdom!Good luck!March 10th Update:After rescheduling again, I told them to push out all deliveries to the 10th of March since I was going to be on a business trip and I figured that their incompetence could not possibly be so horrible to where they would miss it again.Well, the incompetence and the horrible nightmare of customer service continues! They called 2 days ago to tell me that an item I purchased over a month ago has been discontinued which begs the question why they took the order. Another item that was on back order is back ordered again. A rug that was supposed to have shipped via UPS a month ago was changed to delivery the last time and was not delivered, it is not delivered again today!I called the store yesterday to find out what is going on and I was told they would call me back, well, no call yet. Once they sell and get the money, the customer is pretty much screwed and out of choices.The store manager is simply horrible and rude and worthless is the perfect description for her. Not sure how she got to be a manager since she has no clue as to how to problem solve. Just calls and explains that things happen because "this is furniture"!? What a joke!A few items they attempted to deliver, the foot board is damaged so I had to return it. This nightmare of an experience is never ending and the problem is, I have to deal with the incompetence and don't care attitude of the staff at Ashley Furniture!Never again!March 17, 19 The Saga Continues!

On the good side the selection is large, they will haggle a little, and some of the stuff is decent quality. On the negative side the sales people tend to be aggressive, some of the stuff isn't very good quality. We ended up buying a nice bedroom set although as always, buyer beware.

Georgette was absolutely wonderful!I came to Ashley Furniture because I was searching for the perfect little dining set.My place is small but pretty and I wanted a set that would not only fit but would be comfortable and add to the beauty.Georgette Moore greeted me at the door and I explained what I had in mind. She appreciated my need and was thoughtful in her search.She took her time and showed me several pieces in the store and after I left she sent pictures of other pieces online. BUYER BEWARE!!If you are having problems with returns, damaged items,, items that were never delivered etc. I strongly suggest that you record any phone conversation with the representatives. If you go to the store in person you should video record any answers you are given. And make sure you post them on YouTube. Many people have gotten the run around for months. Be VERY leery of excepting or using any Ashley Home Furnishing gift cards!

I purchace a livingroom set on 11/04/2018 and had my delivery done by 11/10/18. During the process of my purchase they had to re-due my invoice several times, because they where having issues and they gave me areceipt with missing items and missing money that I had paid in cash. Michelle promised me that she will take care of it and that I had nothig to worry about and I trusted her and left. Well I was wrong. On the day of my delivery I notice that there were 2 items missing and I called the store to try to speak with my sales rep Thomas or the store manager "Michelle". I was not able to speak with either one of them. The person helping me I do believe her name is Sharel or something like that stated that Michelle was training staff and that she did not had time to stop and take care of a customer in this case me. As of today 01/15/18 I have not received any phone calls from no one, not even coorporate office. This is after several attempts. I would never ever recomend Ashley Furniture in Dublin, CA or any others out there due to their lack of professionalism and communication. They don't take customers seriouslly or even attempt to make things right.
